1. Clean the area to be repaired. 2. Mask off the surrounding area. 3. Scuff the area to be refinished. 4. Repairs are made by either using PDR to remove the damage, using a stud welder to pull out the damage, fill in the damage, or by sanding the damage out. 5. The repair area is then sprayed with primer and then sanded smooth. 6. Then the basecoat (color/paint) is applied. 7. Finally we clear coat the area to be refinished. This provides the shine and strength to your finish. 8. If necessary, we can buff and polish the finish after it has dried. |

Our paint work has to be done outdoors. It is illegal to paint indoors unless you are in a permitted spray both. Therefore, we cannot paint in your garage or in a parking structure. We cannot work in alleys or on the street as this is illegal. We need to work on private property such as your driveway at your home or if you need us to come to your office, you need to get permission from the management of that property. |

Depending on the damage and the weather, it can take from 2-6 hours to complete most jobs. |

Since the extent of damage can be so varied, and the location of the damage so varied, it is hard to offer some kind of price, that said here is a rough guide. Price: $249-$449 per panel* *Determining factors in pricing are:
1. Type of Damage:
2. Type of Color:
3. How much is to be refinished?
4. What are we refinishing on top of?
A General Guide to Industry Pricing:
Traditional repair methods (Body Shops) typically include not only refinishing the panel the damage is on, but also blending color into the adjacent panels, then charging you per panel. At very competitive shops, pricing will range between $300 and $450 per panel. As you can see, if one panel had damage on it and the two adjacent panels were blended into, you could be charged $900-$1350 or more. That's not to say that there is never a time one of our painters may need to blend into an adjacent panel, but often we keep the repair area much smaller than traditional repair methods would and this is one way we save you money. |

Please be sure you know how your lease contract reads before returning you vehicle. Oftentimes a lease contract will say something along the lines of "you are required to repair any damage over 2 inches long" (damage that is larger than the size of a credit card). This damage is commonly referred to as "excessive wear and tear". Before you return your vehicle, use a 'Fast Car Repair' expert to avoid paying retail prices for "excessive wear and tear". |
